Getting an accurate inventory of everything how it was is very important.  What does the damage look like, smell like, or even feel like?  With fire, smoke can travel throughout the house and even if it didn’t stain or burn the smell can seep into everything from clothes, bedding, and even upholstery. Having the right team come in initially can reduce so much stress for you and your family.  We can walk through with you, you can ask questions, and we can provide solutions.  These solutions might mean everything be packup to be cleaned and stored while the structure is also repaired.  This may sound like a lot of work and a little stressful, but rest assured, we take photos of everything and provide all those photos to you so you know everything we took possession of.  If there’s anything you don’t want us to take we can leave that for you as well.  

What is restorable?  

The solution to pack and clean everything also gives us the chance to further assess what can be restored.  Using state of the art procedures and equipment they can get each item back to its pre-loss condition or decide that the damage is beyond repair and find a replacement cost to provide to your insurance.  You would be amazed at what can be saved with a little elbow grease.  The elbow grease that you, the homeowner, don’t have to take time to do.  

Having a detailed inventory done as we pack everything out also saves time for you as we put everything back like it was, but maybe a little cleaner, as before.  With overview pictures and photos of how cabinets looked, we can put your kitchen back how you had it so you don’t have to search all morning for a bowl and a spoon.
